What's Happening?

Scheduled for opening in 2024/25, “Memorial Sports Park and Convention Center” will bring over 100 acres of new and never seen before family entertainment, fun, recreation, shopping and activities all to one location in Southwest Florida!

The HEART of “Memorial Sports Park and Convention Center” offers restaurants, retail shopping, a 300+ room hotel, 9,000 person outdoor entertainment venue highlighting today and yesterday’s hottest national and international talent, plus “The World’s Largest Hobby Store!” 30,000 square feet filled with every imaginable family hobby interest. All this is surrounded by more “family fun things to do” including, outdoor RC racing tracks, RC boat racing, an RC air park, miniature golf, indoor swimming, game room, multi-use sports fields for pickle ball, soccer, softball, baseball, and other field sports along with exercise, walking and running paths!

The SOUL of “Memorial Sports Park and Convention Center” is dedicated to education. Kids of all ages will love the planned 15,000 square foot “Southwest Florida Model Railroad Museum” with interactive displays and a collection of model railroading spanning the last 100 years plus! A planned 12,000 square foot “Education And Learning Center” will highlight and coordinate various “in-park” educational features, with guests needs and interests.

The HONOR of “Memorial Sports Park and Convention Center” is the “Jay R. LaGace Memorial Gardens” and the 15,000 square foot “Southwest Florida Veteran and First Responder Museum.” This space is dedicated to the outstanding legacy Mr. LaGace left behind and the impact he had on the community. This outdoor space will also include other honorees who have impacted our community by serving above and beyond the call of duty. And the “Jay R. LaGace Memorial Gardens” will be in a verdant, natural setting, where visitors may reflect.
